Friends of the Juneau Public Library
What are the Friends?
The Friends of the Juneau Public Library, Inc. was organized in 1991. It is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, improving, and expanding library services. Friends annually contribute to the Summer Reading Program, Children’s and National Book Week as well as support family, adult, youth, and child oriented programs. They participate in special programs and projects through funding and using their talents.
Monthly Meeting
The Friends of the Juneau Public Library meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 9:00am in the library meeting room.
Friends Activities
Used Book Sale – The Friends Used Book Sale is happening now in the Book Store. Stop by for great deals on all kinds of books and DVDs. Free Will donations accepted to support the Friends of JPL.
Annual Meeting – The annual meeting is typically held at the May monthly meeting. Date and time may fluctuate. Please contact the library for more information. Renew your membership or get involved for the first time.
