National Paper Airplane Day

Join the fun Wednesday, May 26th at 4:30pm!


Celebrate National Paper Airplane Day with the library and the World Record Holder, John Collins. Learn to fold the World Record Plane and a Stunt Plane while learning about basic aerodynamics from John. John broke the world record for paper aircraft distance in 2012; a record he still holds. Author of four books of original designs, John has been called the world’s foremost expert on paper airplanes. His planes are recognized around the globe, and one was featured in the movie “Paper Planes.

“Take & Make kits with supplies to create these paper airplanes will be available at the library beginning Monday, May 17.

A recording of the program and plane kits will be available through June 30.
