LIBRARY DIRECTOR

The Juneau Public Library is seeking a full-time Library Director. The Juneau Public Library serves approximately 2,500 residents and surrounding townships and is a member of the Monarch Library System.

The Library Director oversees the daily operations of the library and staff, manages the collection, and supervises library services to patrons and community organizations. Two years of study at an accredited institution or equivalent, as demonstrated by prior work experience or documented accomplishments is required along with knowledge of current library practices, technology and trends. College level coursework and supervisory experience in related fields is helpful. Must hold or be willing to acquire appropriate library certification, which is a Grade III Wisconsin Public Library certification or higher.

The Library Director position is a 40-hour/week position. Health insurance and other benefits are available.
